Hey - I don't understand this desire to hang dead animals on the wall either. It is a hunter's thing, believe me. My husband has done taxidermy for about 30 years now. I know there are several supply companies he buys things from - McKenzie and VanDykes are two I can think of right off. I'll ask when he gets in tonight and see if he has a preference when it comes to the tools.
I understand this is very offensive to some people and I don't care for it either. The only way I tolerate it is, he has to keep those things in the garage. He is also a wildlife artist and does use the mounts as life-like references in his drawings, and carvings. Also, I justify it by knowing if he didn't utilize the animal that part would be garbage anyway.
