Default Update

I looked in a few newspapers around the state today for another female Yorkie puppy...we can't get one yet until we find a house, but I still like to look

I found an ad for Yorkie puppies-both males and females, at a reasonable price-with a phone # that DID NOT match the one of the breeder we got Emma from. I double checked, just to make sure I didn't call her on accident.

So, I called the #, and there was no mistaking her voice. I think she added a line or got a new #-could this be so that previous buyers couldn't find her!??!

So, I asked her if she still had yorkies, and she said "1 male, 1 tiny female". I asked how much, and she's lowered the price on the female $300!!! After she wouldn't give me a better deal on one in the first place! !!! I just feel betrayed in a way, and I know I didn't want a puppy from her from this litter anyway, with them possibly being a mix and all. But still!

I'm sure the puppies are getting older now and showing signs of a mixed breed-she wanted them gone by the end of November, and there were 4 in the litter. She was so certain that they'd be "Christmas Puppies" and they'd sell in no time..I'm kind of glad they haven't. Maybe she'll learn from this, that trying to pull the wool over people's eyes isn't the right way to go about business.
