Don't mean to scare you, but I'd say just be on the lookout for any signs of hypoglycemia in a guy that small. Mine was 1.5 pounds when I brought him home at 3 months and is now a tiny, but sturdy 3.5 pounds and holding at 10 months. He had two hypoglycemic episodes -- one just days after I brought him home and the other about a month and a half later. It was scary! The first time, he was very, very sick and was in the hospital for a couple days. He just went through a new home, not eating thing, but because he was so small, he didn't have too many reserves to fall back on. Get yourself some Nutrical (you can buy it at the pet store) just in case he decides not to eat when you first bring him home. My guy is now a good little eater. Even picky eaters will lap up this stuff. Be sure to look for signs of hypoglycemia (lethargy, diarhea, throwing up). If this happens, some Kyro syrup in his mouth should revive him, and then try feeding him 20-30 minutes later. But be sure to take him to the vet straight away. Otherwise, just give him lots of love and encouragement -- these teeny-weenie ones are real charmers!
