I am trying to find out if my mother has a guardian appointed to her. I have not spoken to my mother in years. I am trying to find her. The last news I had was that she was in a state run facility. Missouri cannot give out patient information but they took my name and number. If my mother is a patient at their facility they will give her my information.

What I'm concered about is that she may not even know who I am because she is mentally ill and i'm sure on lots of medication. So I wanted to find out if she had a guardian to speak with them regarding her condition...if I can even find her. I was pointed to the Missouri courts. But I would not even know where to start calling. Hoping someone here can point me in the correct direction. The last time I spoke with my mother she lived in the Richland area. Near Ft. Lenorwood. Any advice would be much appreciated.
