I had Chloe's x-ray done on day 61 (I had taken her to another vet two weeks earlier who really p/./..d me off.) Anyway, neither vet had an ultrasound. Vet #2 did the x-ray the day before the pups arrived. It was fascinating, showed four pups, one already well into the birth canal. Imagine my surprise when pup number five popped out! X-rays aren't nearly as accurate as an ultrasound, so be prepared!
