oh SO stressed out *anal glands* ok so back to the vet we went today for Layla's anal glands... now the last resort is a high fibre food (which i'm pretty sure will just make her stool softer.. but whatever.. i'll give it a try) as of right now we are giving her a bit of bran flakes (as per suggestion on here!! thanks!!) but does anyone know a high fibre high quality food?? and when that dones't work (which i'm sure it won't) it's removal time... my vet seemed VERY knowledgable about the process how it is very time consuming thus many vets don't do it properly. he knew that he has to be extreamly careful not to cut surrounding muscle.. but all of this means she has to be under for a while.. which really stresses me out.. SO has anyone had their dogs anal glands removed?? PLEASE let me know how it went.. i'm so upset over this.
