I would not do the syrup either because it is probably too sweet for him. I would get some NutriCal from the pet store and give it to him the same way you've been giving him the syrup. How old is he? While you are at the petstore, get some canned food and start mixing it with his hard food. That should entice him to eat. If he starts eating really well, the give him less nutrical/syrup. Giving too much sugar can cause diabetes later. But definately do give the nutrical/syrup if he isn't eating. You want to prevent a hypoglocemic episode. |
