Hi Brownie's mom, I heard that Silky's were bigger in general than yorkies are...you said your's is 14 lbs...that's an armful!! My Kady is 9 1/2 and that even feels heavy sometimes ...especially when we're out taking a walk and she decides she's had enough and wants me to carry her all the way back home.
I would love to get another little dog too, but maybe try for a smaller yorkie. Only because so many people have shared photos of the tiny ones and they look so cute. Kady is a rascal and loves the outdoors and woods. She's a wild looking thing, not a lap dog...and would never be seen in a bow...hah! but she's a whole lot of fun and I like that she's so adventurous. She runs the deer off into the woods...she thinks she's as big as they are.
