I was only attached to one other dog like this that I can remember. It was when I was in high school. I had a black Chow/Lab mix and she was my baby.I can even remember picking her out. I squatted down to play with all of the pups and she just kinda stood back all alone. It broke my heart. I went and picked her up and just knew she was the one that I wanted. She would ride all over the place with me. I can even remember getting ready for work once and I couldn't find her and just panicked. I go out side and she had jumped in my truck and was sitting in the drivers side waiting to go! SHe lived to be about 13.
We have ownd several dogs since then most we adopted at an older age. I loved them all but none quite compared to her until now. |
