Our vet says that it's 6 months or 2 lbs. Toto couldn't be spayed until she was a little over 8 months because it took her that long to weigh 2 lbs. but there was no heat. She also said that because she was so tiny, there was no danger for her to wait. She removed all her baby teeth that were left.
