I have never had any problems moving to a new home with any of my pets (dogs or cats). They always seem to be excited about being in a new place --- with so much to explore and discover
Of course - I'm there with them, and I sure this is what makes the transition so easy. They like to be and feel safe wherever I am.
I will say that "new bathroom routines" are something that always have to be attended to. It takes them all a while to figure out just where it is that they can or can't go to the bathroom. And, we certainly had our share of accidents for the first week or two.....
