I work with Jaden in segments. We work for about 10 minutes, three different times a day. I've found this way he doesn't get bored and training isn't something he hates but actually enjoys because he knows he'll get treats. So far we've learned sit, down, come, heel, shake hands (both of his paws), Up, Circle, and he's working on walking in a circle on his two back legs.
I've found the best way to teach them something is to do it with them over and over again and once its done give them positive reinforcement.
With Jaden, I have to do something about 20 times before he even gets the idea that we're suppose to be learning something. After about 35 times he finally gets it so just keep trying and don't give up, they'll get it eventually!
