on your contract does it have the dam/sire reg #'s? if so perhaps call the AKC see if there is a litter registed under the breeders name and dam/sire reg #'s. They also may have an alterative contact for her other than what she gave you.

Certainly an unpapered pup should have sold for far less than a papered, you should be refunded some monies for her inability to produce papers as promised. If the papers are important to you take her to small claims.
