 Rylie & Layla Progress Report
Hi all,
I posted a picture on this site but for the life of me I have no idea how to retrieve it; I put it on a link with a bunch of other people's photos soewhere on this site...
Laya is now 4 months old and doing so well-- she weighs almost 4 pounds! She's completely potty trained and can hold her own against big brother Rylie. She's so smart and so loving-- she's always giving out kisses. The only concerns I have are her health-- she's always very hungry and our vet just found a worm in her stool. The other thing that concerns me is that she acts very afraid of people that she passes in the street. She sometimes backs up or barks. I wish she was more social and friendly like Rylie is, but I guess we can work on that...
Other than those minor issues, Layla is a complete joy. She's brought so much joy to our lives. Rylie adores her. We use to feel so guilty about leaving him at home while we went to work but now we are comforted in knowing he has Layla to play with. They make a great pair and I absolutely love waking up and finding them cuddled up next to each other on the other side of the bed.
I could never explain what it's like to come home and have two little dogs make you feel like royalty when you walk in the door. The joy on their faces when they see me is indescribable. I wish everyone could feel that feeling...
