I think Villette is right and you should be ever vigilant about big dogs when we walk these little yorkies (who think they are big dogs). You probably already do this so you asked about etiquette. How sweet you are? Because you are concerned you will be the one who someone will yell at when he does poop!! Lol! That's my luck anyway!!

Seriously, I think as long as you clean up after your dog, it is okay. If you have an emptylot or a pak near you where dogs are allowed on a leash then that is preferred but you cannot be expected to carry a wee wee pad

with you on your walks and, after all, Dogs will be dogs!!
