You MUST have a tube of Nutri-Cal or Nutri-Stat (take it everywhere you take your pup). Remember, your new pup will need lots of naps. Puppy proof your floors (and anywhere else the pup can reach) before brining home. I don't know what you mean by shower, but it is very important NEVER to let water get in the canal of the ears.
