First off - congratulations on the new baby, how exciting!! As far as a checklist of items to have, here are just a few;

Good quality dog food - she will be used to eating whatever the breeder is feeding so if you change food do so slowly, replacing the old food with new a little at a time.

Harness and leash for walks

Piddle pads if she is going to be trained this way

Toys -

Shampoos and conditioners - it will be a matter of personal preference, I use different things on Ruby. Some for dogs and some human products. I do use baby shampoo around the face though, so it doesn't sting her eyes. Last time - I used Garnier Fructise (sp) shampoo, Jheri Redding Protein treatment, Aussie 3-min. miracle conditioner. For her next bath I'll probably use a different combination. I've used the CC systems for dogs too (wasn't too pleased tho).

I would also write down your vet's emergency phone # and there is an 800# for poison control hotline that is free. I would keep these right by the phone, God forbid, just in case.
