This IS a scam. This is the one where they send you too much money via cheque and ask that you send them the difference back. I've seen it many times before and heard of a few people who got stung by it. They keep it general 'cause they answer all types of classified ads for every type of sale. Of course they're not interested in the item...just scamming you for money.
