Abbie is undergoing surgery on the 12 for Perthes. My vet said was genetic and does not surface until between 3-12 months. We first notcied Abbie;s limp about a month ago @ 8 months old
My vet said that with this surgery she should be just fine and stop limping. Now we just have to pray that it does not develop in the other hip. The surgery ( in NJ) will cost us about $2500. It's gonna be a lean lean christmas here, but Abbie will be better and that is what counts.
