Sometimes they need to be wormed more than once to get all the worms out of their system. It is perfectally normal for them to still have worms only after 5 days. It takes awhile to get through their system and if they have alot of worms they will more than likely need to be dewormed more than once. You have to wait though, you can't deworm them again right away but by the second dose they should all be gone.
Drontal is a good dewormer, my vet uses the same thing.
I once had a cat that I rescued that had alot of worms. She was even throwing up worms. It took about 3 doses which was split up over 3 months to get all the worms and eggs out of her system. |
