I used to think that I favored the lighter colored yorkies. But after owning both the darker and lighter color yorkies, I find that I prefer the dark ones. I love all the colors and it wouldn't stop me from choosing a pup because of the color but I do favor the black and gold ones.
Here is a picture of my two. I don't think you can tell from the picture but Scampers (left) is black and gold and Destiny (right) is blue and tan. Of course the black on Scampers head will go away once I cut his hair, it will be all gold, I am just waiting for it to get a little longer and then I will cut it.
