I feed mine a whole teaspoon. You should not wory about over supplementing or nutrition. My vet gave me the okay on an entire teaspoon. My yorkie is about 4lbs but has been on missing link since he was 3lbs.

My toy poodle is on missing link plus (she is 4 and has arthritis) and she too gets a whole teaspoon

The results are amazing!

Oh, and make sure you store it in the fridge
