I thought I'd post a pic or two of our new bed....I made the headboard out of MDF, quilt batting and covered it in creme velvet. I'm really happy with how it turned out. I also made a cover for it in green velvet just in case I want to change it up every now and then.

We got a king sized bed this time so there's enough room for hubby, myself, the furkids and the teenagers (when they pile on to watch movies tv with us and to snuggle with the pups!)

The bedding isn't exactly my choice, but the price was right. I paid 50 bucks for a bed in a bag that was stickered $380.00 as the original price...so I learned to like yellow and hydrangeas...lol!
