Clock Help! Chloe is my alarm clock!

Hello! We have a 4 1/2 month old adorable yorkie girl named Chloe. She is very smart and is really getting the potty training down well now. But she has gotten in the habit of "yapping" every morning around 6:00 am. (Today it was 5:30)!!! She sleeps in the laundry room with our other yorkie mix, so she is not lonely or scared. During the week, I get up at 6:am every morning for work, so we thought she was hearing me (our room is right next to the laundry room) - and she would start barking to let me know "I'm in here...let me out!" But even on weekends, she starts "alerting" us soooooooo early.

What can we do to teach her that she needs to be QUIET in there until WE decide to let her out? Is it just a matter of her getting older to learn this? Our other little yorkie mix learned it - she is 6 years old!

Thanks for any advice.

Pam, Chloe, Lily, and Molly(the big dog!)
