Thanks everyone! I went with the Sony Cybershot 7.2 MP and a 1 GB memory card. It was between that and the Canon Powershot A 620. Both are very highly rated. However, I ended up with more battery life with the Sony. I have always been happy with Sony products. Time will tell if I made the right choice. If anyone is interested, Staples.com has a great deal right now on the Canon Powershot. It comes bundled with a photo printer for $249 if memory serves.

I think you will be happy with it. Thatz the one I have (7.2 MP .. model P200) and I like the big screen, small size, battery life and that it takes videos also ...
