Today isn't the day I would worry about! When I had Roxie spayed a few months ago, I threw a fit when the vet wanted to keep her overnight, so I got to bring her home with me and the first 2 days were great! It was probably a combination of the anesthesia and the surgery because she slept a lot and when she was awake, she wanted to just sit next to me. But, on the third day her stitches must have started itching because she started licking them and I really had to watch her. She also wanted to jump up and down off of the couch and bed and the vet had told me not to let her do that for a FEW days. So, I had to devote all of my time to watching her unless I wanted to put her in her kennel.
