I always crush the pills and add to a tiny bit of peanut butter. That has always worked for me. I do ask the vet to make sure there is no problem with crushing the pills and so far there never has been. But I know there are some people pills that should not be crushed and need to dissolve slowly.

We used to wrap pills in a ball of cheese and that worked for some but then one of them got smart and sucked off all the cheese and spit out the pill. So, we went to crushing and peanut butter.
