I too was afraid of hypoglycemia even though shes around 6 pounds now. The vet told me not to feed her until morning but i gave her some nutrical. I also gave her some water through a medicine syringe because she refused to drink all day.
I didnt want to give her any pain meds because she has been on a lot of medication that was also bad for her liver. But I had to give her one pill anyway because she wouldnt be able to fall asleep. She just kept laying down and getting up in a minute or two.
This morning she seems to be doing a lot better....walking around the house and even ate some breakfast and drank on her own.Now im worried when the soreness goes away shell start licking and scratching the stiches. Thats when the onsie will go on. |
