I have an uncle who's a retired helicopter pilot. Right before he retired, he was piloting the helicopters that flew over parts of Alaska fighting fires. He carried the "red" stuff that gets distributed over the fires to help put them out. He rotated in and out of Alaska every six months for several years about 4 years ago. Were you anywhere near the fires? BTW, he LOVED it and thought Alaska was God's country!
