He's still very very young to be allowed the run of the house. Go back to basics and keep him confined to the kitchen with his pee pads.
Eventually he will catch on, but right now he just doesn't understand that he is doing anything wrong. he knows that you're angry about something, but he doesn't know what. Unless you actually catch him in the act, then you may as well save your breath because it won't do a bit of good to scold him.
Don't allow him the run of the house untill you are sure he knows.
Just because they use the pee pads in one room does not mean they will use them in every room. You have to train them one room at a time.
The biggest mistake that I have seen on here is people giving them too much freedom too soon. think of them as children. You would allow your child to run the streets just because he knows the rules at home. |
