I need help getting Bailey to take her medicine. I took her to the vets again today for her diarhea and she has a bacterial infection. The vet gave me 3 meds, one is liquid, one is a paste and one is a pill. I cannot get her to take the pill, I put in into her mouth and she gagged it up and spit it out.
Should I crush it?
I have her on a bland diet of white rice and chicken with a bit of cottage cheese . The vet wants her to stay on it for 3-5 days, then start reintroducing her to her kibble. I can't give her any other foods right now.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
