I have VPI for my pet insurance. It's about $20/month. My policy is the Superior Plan. It covers accidents, hospitalizations and other emergency items like that. If you go to this link it will give you a quote for your dog: http://petinsurance.com/

I've never had to use it (thankfully!), but I like knowing I have it. If Howie ever broke a leg or something I would have a hard time coming up with $2,000 on the spot. For me, it's worth it to pay the $20 every month and not worry.
