Default Beware of Simba's Pride in Nevada

Hi All,
We recently purchased a puppy from Simba's Pride. When we met at the state border to pick up the puppy he was very listless and lethargic which we attributed to the long car ride etc. His health deteriorated and we took him to vet and they treated him for dehydration. We contacted the breeder and were told our little guy had thrown up a lot on the trip to meet us. Of course they did not tell us that when we paid for him. Before the first week was up he almost died twice --seizing etc. He literally spent the first two weeks at between the emrgency hospital and day vet. Diagnosis was hypoglocimia resulting from Giardia and tape worm. The vets all said he came with those parasites and to contact breeder. At first the breeder was very apologetic and offered to help with bills or give us a new pup if he died (not sure why they thought we wuld want another sick pup). Fortunately the little guy survived the ordeal and we have over $2,000 in vet bills. The breeder now says she will not help with anything. She wanted us to bring the puppy back to her for care when he was critical which of course was impossible because he could not have survived the trip.We have sought legal advice and fortunately should be able to recoup money. The problem is that the vets informed us that he either got giardia from his mother as a carrier or from the kennel. In our last conversation with the breeder she is not treating her dogs for giardia which means someone else may have to endure all this grief. Please help us get the word out.
