My daughter, Kaitlyn, was in Senior Kindergarten and was 4 years old. It was St. Patrick's day and everyone was dressed in green...the Educational Assistant, Sandy, was dressed as an elf. When she was talking about elves to the children, my daughter spoke up and said, 'there's no such thing as elves.'
'No?' said Sandy.
'No,' Kaitlyn replied. 'They've been extinct for years!'
Kaitlyn is 17 now and whenever I see Sandy, she still talks to me about Kate's extinct elves..lol.
