Archie at 10 months still sleeps in his crate at night, but at about 6 a.m., I get up to "go potty" and so does he. I then let him come in bed with me (under the covers) for an hour or two -- he is very snuggly, going for my feet or getting as close to my legs as he can get and snoozing away. Somethimes, though, he get's "thrown out" and put back in his crate when he decides he wants to roam around, chew on my pajama buttons or "dig to China" (trying to dig through the bed, or worse yet, my legs!). Sometimes, if he's misbehaving, I'll ask him "Do you want to go back in your bed?" and he will high-tail it under the covers and lay down quickly, pretending to be asleep so I don't put him back in his crate!
