I do hope you will consider everything you read on a tinies and children.I myself am not a believer in small yorkies and small children. I have a 2 lb yorkie and a 8 lb yorkie. I wouldn't let a 2 yr old play with my little one but the larger yorkie LOVES kids. I would think that would be such a much safer and better choice. You can still dress up a 7-8 lb yorkie
