My biggest concern about tinies with children is actually not just about the children who live in the home. They can be such sweet gentle children and have friends in that are the kids from hell. The child then either has to become doggy police (which is not fair) ask his friends to leave, or be constantly supervised which is not fair for any of the persons involved...another option is keep the dog crated while the kids are out and keep the kids crated when the dogs are out. Just kiddin about the last one.
I think it is imperative for the breeder to meet all of the household and that includes all other dogs. Rabbits and cats -well, I am allergic so I cannot make them come to visit.
When a random tiny puppy is born and loved to adulthood, they are the most precious little beings. But when irresponsible people breed tiny bitches to get tiny puppies I could just smack them. Your breeder sounds as if she is a concerned person.
