You can use the scraper on your stones for anything stuck on but your stone should "age" and look browned. That is when it really starts working well and nothing will stick anymore. Mine is ugly but I love it! I used to be a joke about burnt rolls, but not anymore!

I have lots of the stoneware too -- the cranberry color matches my Cinnamon Fiesta dishes perfectly.
