My poor little Jackson looks so sad and pathetic right now.
He came home from the vet about an hour ago.
He is still a little wobbly and has to wear one of those collars that looks like a lamp shade. (I took it off for a bit to give him a break and let him eat/drink some, but he clearly wants to lick at his stitches so I had to put it back on.) The post-surgical instructions I got don't say how long he has to wear the collar.
Anyone know how long he's going to be stuck with that thing on him? 
He hates it, of course. And he can't exactly eat or drink with it on, which I find concerning. I sure hope he won't be stuck in this uncomfortable thing until his stitches come out -- that'll be 2 weeks!
