Yeah, that was what I first thought it might be was a tick! I was horrified at the thought as Jaden gets regular baths and gets groomed thorougly daily so even though we go on walks 2-3 times a day I didn't think it could be a tick because the weather has been cooler here.
When I looked closer at it I can almost see a very small knot and it reminds me of the stitches I had in my finger. Same black color and it feels hard like a wire sort of thing not hard like a bugs head or anything like that.
I'm going to get in touch with the vet who neutered him tomorrow and see exactly when he was neutered and get his opinion on this as well. That way I'll have that information in case his new vet needs it. The vet who neutered him was where I got him and that was in Washington DC. I don't think I will be driving up there again for an appt! Hope not anyway
