I feel bad for you. I have only one dog and he did get aggressive with me a couple of weeks ago when I went to pick up his food bowl after he ate. He is 2 1/2 yrs. I backed up so fast. He went right for me! I freeked and ordered Cecear Milan's DVD'S. I have always made him sit before he is feed so I don't know what went through his head. I am trying to show him I control the food and I am boss. I no longer give him food when he begs for it as I cut up the chicken. I also make him sit and stay and look at me directly in the eye before I allow him to eat. I have had no problem since but I am on guard now.
I imagine with more than one dog it can be a problem. Is it possible to feed the dogs in seperate rooms? I do that when I have my daughter's pug just in case. When they are done I remove the gate and both run to each others bowl and finish what the other one left. No fights. Good luck and I hope you can work it out and keep your baby. Carol & Buddy |
