Maybe the method I use to kid proof my dogs will help you. Instead of feeding him in his bowl- feed him by hand for a while. Then take it to the next level by removing food from his bowl while he is eating and then rewarding him with praise and petting for not attacking you ( you may want to wear a leather glove for this, just in case.) Also when playing with them, if they get rough, I say ouch and I also use this for my release command when playing tug of war or fetch. I started doing this with the hopes of having grandkids and now I have a 1 year old grandson and they all get along well with him. I even tugged on their ears and tail while playing and when they were younger. But I do watch my grandson around my 13 year old Husky because she is getting a little grumpy in her old age and she does have her own special room to go to when he is here if I suspect anything may happen. But she pretty much hangs out in her room when my grandson is here unless she wants outside.
