My yorkie weighed in at 1lb 10oz just this month at her spay and I was terribly nervous about the surgery, one of the reasons I didn't go to my main vet was because she's so small. She made it through like champ, though.
And
nobody holds my dog, let alone pass her around she doesn't like it when strangers hold her anyways she tries to jump.
