reputable breeders that raise their pups carefully, underfoot in the house where they can be properly socialized generally do not have enough litters/year to warrant the use of credit cards/paypal etc....and are more concerned with the well being of the pups they produce than the marketing of them. they will also have a careful screening process for new owners....not just a whoever's got the cash, first come first serve philosophy.
the Lorrains site also specializes in teacups (sheesh) for big bucks.....sometimes it's unfortunately all about the money.
