Hi I just got Emmie on Wednesday. At first she wasn't eating, but her breeder said she really wasn't fond of the food she was giving her. It was a/d medicated from the vet. She was on it because she had kennel cough. Before she got sick she was eating dry food, but once she was on the medicated food she only wants the canned food. Her breeder said once she got well she stopped liking the a/d and wanted other wet food. She said she likes Canidae wet food, so I went out and bought some. Her breeder told me to make sure she eats every four hours. Is this too often? She will be 14 weeks tomorrow and weighs 1lb 9 ounces. Also if she does eat every four hours how often should I be giving her Nutrical? Should I give it to her a certain amount of times everday while she is a puppy? And how much should I give her? Should I give it to her in between meals? Or if she eats normal do I need to give it to her? The breeder told me to give her a tablespoon of the wet food every four hours is this enough for her. How much do you feed your yorkies as puppies? I just don't want to be giving her too much Nutrical or more than is needed. Sorry for all the questions or if this sound confusing. Thanks so much for your help? Also I have caught her eating her poop a couple of times. I have read about it on here, but does anyone know how long this usually lasts?
