Good luck with your new babies. My dogs have all had some sort of discharge a day or two before whelping. pay very close attention to the discharge. If it gets stinky , that isn't normal. Also just a tip: My little dogs slip their collars too. I never put them on mine unless we go to the vet because I have a huge fenced yard for them to walk in. But one day I took Silk to the vet with her little collar and leash on. i sat her down beside the car to walk into thee vet. the vet was outside and pointed to something behind me. there she sat, looking guilty as all get out and m five foot in front with the empty collar and leash in my hand.
