OK, here's a question for the breeders. If a person wanted a yorkie pup from you but they wanted him/her to have a tail, would you refrain from docking the tail?? I realise that is probably not feasible since they are docked at 3 days of age, but what if you have someone waiting on a puppy? Would you leave the tail intact on their puppy? Or would you just tell them they have to be docked??
The breeder I had got Autumn from (never will use him again) had said if I wanted a puppy with a tail then I had to sign a contract stating that I requested a yorkie with a tail so I couldn't come back and say he refused to dock that tail?? I was like, OK, but we didn't go back because he totally turned into a backyard breeder.
