My husband, and daughter have been on paxil for many years. They also have anxiety attacks and my husband is bi-polar. The paxil works to keep you normal. It really doesn't do anything to them, except keep away the bad guys.(feelings) If you are taking the right dosage you won't notice any difference. The real difference is feeling good and thinking you don't need it anymore and then stopping it on your own. This is bad. You have to taper off of it. Just try it and see if it doesn't make you feel better about yourself. Good luck-Debbie
