Many of you are still inquiring on this forum and others about how Huck is doing. Right now things are still pretty tough for him. Poor thing doesn't have even an ounce of playfulness in him! He sleeps alot, and it's pretty obvious he's not feeling well at all. Maybe it's just my imagination, but he seems a little skiddish even. I know the pain must be unbearable. He shivers quite a bit too. I think that's from the pain though, because after I give him his pain medicine the shivering stops. Plus, according to the vet, the pain medicine is some pretty strong stuff, so I think it contributes to his overall groggy disposition. Perhaps in another week or so he'll perk up a bit, but I have a feeling it's going to take some time.

Bless his little heart. give him gentle hugs from my team here. I hope the healing goes on fast and he will lose that pain soon.
