The drawbacks:
Marking
Humping
Aggression toward other males - Yorkies will pick fights with dogs they don't possibly have a chance against
Roaming - they can smell a female in heat blocks away
Testicular cancer
Those are the common ones, but I will say that I have an extremely well behaved stud, but I've never seen him around another male. He is 1 in million though, even when my females are in heat he notices right away, but just gives sweet kisses and then goes off to hump his blankie. They never even have to growl at him because he knows exactly when they no longer have a headache! |
